Show the public what a great BBQ cook you are. Join us for a people’s choice contest for cooking the best pork.
This event will be held at Universal Chevrolet and should be well attended. Restricted to 18 teams. This is two contests in one. The public gets to vote and there is a blind judging portion. The judging public will be given one ticket each to vote. There will be “no stuffing the ballot box”. So, if you are that guy or gal whom everyone says, “you cook the best “Q” in town” then come out and show off your stuff.

Here’s how it works:
Teams can arrive at 4:00 PM, June 10th
Cooks Meeting 6:30 PM
Judging Turn In 10:30 AM (no garnish required) June 11th
People’s Choice starts at 11:00 AM-3:00 PM
Ticket turn in 3:30 PM
Winners announced 4:30 PM
COOK TRAILERS ALLOWED
Wood, charcoal, electric & gas acceptable
Teams are responsible for collecting and turning in tickets to the GrillBillies Rep at the conclusion
Kid’s Q:
Kids can enter on their own (no need to be affiliated with a team)
Adult supervision required
Kids will be supplied wings to cook
Wings distributed at 11:00 AM
Wings can be cooked any way they want on any cooker ON SITE
Turn in time 2:30 PM, June 11th
Universal will supply:
Each team with 4 – 8#-9# butts
2 oz. sample serving cups
Judging Turn in Boxes
Water
No Electric – Generators Allowed
Bathroom Facilities
Grease/gray water disposal
Trash disposal

NOTE: This event is open to the public. Come out and see all the different smokers and speak with the Pitmasters. Watch the madness of competition barbecue. This will be a fun day!
